COVID-19 AND CRISIS RESOURCES
- Masks: Both the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) and the Mornington Peninsula Shire Council (MPSC) continue to advise that the wearing of masks is strongly recommended where social distancing is not possible. DHHS further strongly recommends that masks should be worn when you “are with people who may be vulnerable to COVID-19.” This includes people over the age of 70 and those with pre-existing medical conditions whose immunity may be compromised.
The wearing of masks remains optional but the timely advice from the Minister of Health, DDHS and MPSC should be seriously considered.
